Depression to Happiness

Having Faith

Faith is a strong word. This one word encompasses so many aspects of so many different feelings, emotions, and beliefs. This is one of the few ideals that can be seen in every religion in every section of the globe. This one word, Faith, covers a wide expanse of deliberate trust and so few people, religious or not, can claim to be truly faith-filled. True faith is one of the hardest things to live, know, believe , and understand, but it can also be one of the greatest deliberate strength’s that anyone can possess. It is an awe-inspiring belief that can be the biggest blessing in ones life.

Faith is solid confidence. A belief in the outcome, future, and this belief defies all logic and proof. Without faith so many people would be living their lives in daily fear, worry, and uncertainty. It is a port of hope and those who live with true faith would not any other way. Some of the religious oriented people of this world claim faith as a basis for their daily lives, but when one sees their actions, they do not reflect that of a person who solely understands faith. With faith as a cornerstone of existence there is no worry, doubt, even fear.

Even those who live of strong faith have moments of doubt. If a bill arrives in the mail and you have worry on how to pay it, you may be dealing with issues at work that seem to be affecting your hours, there are many trials that can bring doubt into your life. This doubt can be a trying episode that arises, but when one has faith deeply rooted in their being, it is a thin-doubt that can be overcome.

Faith is defined as a ‘confidence or trust in a person or thing. Belief that is not based on proof’. This is a strong meaning for such a small word. To have faith is to allow oneself to see beyond the evident and obvious. To look to your trust of the outcome. Or to believe that the end result requires no proof for one to believe.

Faith is an unexplainable feeling, a collection of ideas, that represent one’s conviction. It is a strong belief in the unseen and belief in things that are not yet known.

We are living in times of hardship and trials. What if we all could carry faith around in our pockets? We would have that strong conviction, backed by conclusive understanding, that whatever we do and whatever happens that we will find a way through. A way will be found that will lead us to the best outcome, the hope imbedded in every moment. Faith is a way of thinking. It is not automatically instilled in us at birth, faith is learned. One can easily learn to have faith in life and it does not have to be based upon religion. Faith is here for everyone to understand, use, and comprehend.
